Can someone suggest a good fuel pump for a 74 914-6 conversion with a Weber carbed 2.7? The car has been out of commission for a number of years, and I'd like to resurrect it for the upcoming Rennsport Reunion. I'm thinking an inline rotary pump, with sufficient capacity to allow for a larger displacement engine at some future date. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Carb engines need low volume pumps. You will have to check with the experts here on carbs.

Pierburg makes a nice, small fuel pump that can easily be mounted under the gas tank. It's available through a bunch of Porsche and VW parts sellers and is reasonably priced.
