Don't know if I missed it on another thread, but do you have the status of the 914's that were there?

B-J is not a place to sell a Porsche, they are the wrong crowd. They want to see 57 Bel Air's and Hemi anything right now. I watched a lot of it, and I just shake my head.
Now the guy that bought the $3M Olds has to pay an additional $240K in fees. That is like buying a few extra Hemi's. BTW the 911 engine is or at least was a Hemi. |

So why was the guy who bought the Olds in tears???? Because now he has to come up with 3,240,000 dollars. What the early Vette should have been. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif)

Mike I did see the 914s roll trough. I spoke at length to the buyer of the race car, He paid $4600 and is happy with it. Nice guy he just did not know anything about the car.
The custom 914 that sold for $14000 was a very well thought out absract piece of automotive art. Best I can say. Not sure what the buyer saw in this car. More than I would spend. BJ was a fun event and I got to see and also speak to alot of the people they showed on TV. Very crowded and alot of things to see and do if you are not a bidder or seller. I would like to go again next year as a seller of 2 914s a big block Corvette and a Mustang convertible. We will see. CCLINBJINAZ |
