A bunch of us are going from Peachstate PCA, but not in the 914.

Hey John! Whatever you guys decide to drive down in, you're still welcome to join us! 914 or no 914, we're all part of the same club. Always great to meet other members! Please extend the invitation to your PCA as well if they would like to join us too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I hope to go, but probably won't know for sure until much closer to the event. It's less than a 3 hour drive for me, so I hope to work it out between now and March.

Hey Bryan! When the time comes, let me know if you decide to go so you can join us! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Thanks, it would be great to meet some more of the Florida/Southeast 914 gang. I will definitely keep in touch.

Hi, I'm looking into booking my room. Do you have any hotel suggestions close to the cruise Saturday morning?
Thanks,
Jon

I'll be attending. Driving down from PA.
Not in 914 though. It'll be in something Scandanavian:/
Hope to meet up with you guys.

I'm at work until tomorrow. When I get home I'll post some hotels close by. Do you want something close to Amelia Island or for the meet and drive up to Amelia Island?

Does anyone have a schedule of events, as I see that there are several things going on over the weekend other than just the concours on Sunday? Will there be a separate 914 grouping at the concours or is the featured marque different?

Never been there, but I'm thinking of flying down to attend this year. Made airline reservations today, but had to get a hotel room by the Jacksonville Airport. If anyone knows of any hotel availability on Amelia Island, please let me know. Seems the ones I tried are all filled up already.

Thanks! Looks like a lot more things to see than time and energy permits.

It will be interesting to see how the 914s go over with that crowd. Wish I had the time to drive mine down there, but the airlines and rental car will have to suffice.

There are several hotels on Baymeadows Road which is the road between my house and I-95, which will be the first artery of the drive to the Concourse (I-95 North to JTB aka J. Turner Butler to 9A North aka 295 North to Heckshire Drive). Here are a few. If you would like to look further, the immediate zip code is 32256. I've also included aloft and Indigo, which are not on Baymeadows, but are actually close by (1 mile from Baymeadows and on the way to the Concours by JTB. aloft is my favorite hotel and my first choice if you guys like it. Other two favorite hotels in the area are Hotel Indigo which is next to aloft and Four Points on Baymeadows.

Thanks for the hotel information! I will be coming down from NC on either Thursday or Friday. My car is registered for the C&C, so I don't know if I will be able to join the caravan on Saturday, but I'm definitely in for a group drive to the Concours on Sunday. We were also considering hitting the "Porsche Driving Experience" on Friday. That seems like it might be a fun deal.

My car is in the C&C too. I presume we will have to get there early (they haven't sent out those details yet), but I plan to do a drive for the C&C too! Especially since we won't have to pay for parking! lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Also, we can park all our 914s together if we arrive together! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Though we won't be able to bring anything other than our rental car, we're looking forward to attending. We got a hotel room by the airport in Jacksonville, and would appreciate any info regarding the Cars and Coffee event on Saturday, as well as the actual Concours on Sunday. Should we purchase tickets for the Concours in advance or just get them once we're down there?

Will be attendance, but a party of three thus bringing the Suby. Meeting up with friends from Jax and might be arriving in one of their Porsches but not with our 914 gang - sorry. See you guys there.
