Same old story. Boy falls for project with "potential"....finally has to admit he will never have time to complete it.

Orphan project looking for good home. Truly great platform for dream project. NO surprises!

1973 SBC V8 Conversion. Everything done to date was with the intention of keeping the vehicle forever. i.e. front wheel wells have individual vent holes drilled and champhered rather than the standard chop job.

Attached Image

Lots of cool stuff:
As close to NO RUST as you will find in a 914. ZERO RUST in longs or hell hole.
Sheridan racing body kit
SBC 350 engine with AFR 180 heads.
Renegade conversion parts.
new 750 cfm spread bore carb
new headers
901 transaxel with 1st gear blocked off
new rennshifter
new tangering racing shift bushings, shift bar, linkage, and precision shift adjuster and clutch pulley adapter shifts better than any 914 I have driven.
new corbeau racing seats
NO rips or cracks in dash
Autopower rollbar with crossbracing
Ron Davis aluminum radiator

boxed rear trailing arms
reinforced chassis
Aluminum American racing wheels (look like wide fuchs)
6 point simpson harnesses
New closed cell optima battery
911 5 lug hubs
911 front suspension
new elephant racing rear bronze bushings
weltmeister front swaybar
bilsteins all four corners
911 "S" front calipers
911 rear calipers including working parking brake set up
New 23mm mastercylinder
Quick release 3 spoke racing wheel
GT engine lid
Powdercoated fuel tank
SS fuel and brake lines
new mallory cap, wires, and plugs

Attached Image

I have +/- $10K invested to date.

List needed to complete.
1) replace engine gaskets
2) replace caliper o-ring (only other side was leaking initially and I foolishly only replaced that o-ring)
3) tires and alignment
4) paint
5) rubber

Current tags and registration. Car is VERY fast and runs and shifts well but will need to be towed due to old tires, engine oil leak (Local mechanic recommends removing engine and replacing all gaskets) and front caliper leak (have new s-caliper o-ring).

Located in Calistoga California 94515

First person to show up with $6000 and a trailer can take her home.

I have been getting inquiries about what is required to complete this project.

Here is an overview:

Electrical
1) attach ground
2) run + to starter
3) complete attachments to fuel pump etc.

***note...car has renegade wiring harness installed and VDO sending units for coolant temp and oil pressure.

Fuel
1) install gas tank (fresh powdercoated OEM tank included)
2) install fuel pump (high flow holley included)
3) attach 1 and 2 to tangerine racing SS hard line (installed)
4) add fuel!

Mechanical
1) attach shift linkage from firewall to transaxel (included with boots/bushings)
2) install axels (included)
3) purchase/install shift knob

Exhaust
1) purchase/install from headers to tailpipe

Brakes
1) install master cylinder (new 23mm included)
2) install SS lines (included)
3) bleed

Fire her up!!!!!

Could this be used for aggressive street use? In other words, street legal with conventional clear title? Just curious!

Those American 200S's have been my absolute favorite wheel since I first saw them in the 60s. Congrats on finding a set and they look killer!
