I am swapping over to a Suby Trans on the PorSTI so I no longer need this awesome side shift linkage from CFR.
Combined with the Rennshift, this shift linkage transformed the shifting accuracy on my car. Even if you do not buy mine, everybody should get one of these from CFR. The firewall bearing was never installed. As the pictures show, I pulled the shift console with the linkage installed so that all that is required to install this is drain the oil, remove the two bolts from the shift console and bolt in the new console. Also included is the shift console cover, already modified for the new linkage. When I purchased this CFR was not including the part on the shift rod for the firewall rubber boot. I do have one that will be included but not installed. If it is a deal breaker for somebody, I can TIG weld it in place prior to shipping. I left it off because it interferes with my oil filter. The linkage and fire wall bearing are ~$460 from CFR. My price is $400 shipped...obo. Scott |
