If you happen to follow my build thread you saw the development of this part:

How it's Made!

I ran it all summer with zero problems. Now that I am updating to a suby 5mt I no longer need this part.

I am including a new vehicle side Deutsch weather proof connector and pins.

What speedo. is it driving?

In my car it is driving the electronic Subaru instrument cluster. It can drive basically any digital speedometer. I would say any electronic speedometer but there are probably some bizzare analog gauges out there.
