They have been sitting there for a while in the grass and rain. They might have been decent cars now they have to be parts cars. Nothing last too long in the NW especially if you are one block from the salt water!

I say bullshit. I drove past those cars everyday for years and they have not been moved. One was even a support for a tree branch that fell in a storm. They mow the grass aroud them tho.... BTW, I worked at Pegasus for 7 years before I moved to San Fran |

Whats your point ? I just talked to the owner a few days ago. Just because it may never happen does not mean that isnt His Plan. He also told me he just paid 100.00 bucks to have them moved over 1 house. |

Those have been there forever. Apparently they have been moved one house! I'd get one in good condition instead.

BTW if they're the cars I'm thinking of, that part of Alki is still sort of lower West Seattle, and not the primo neighborhood nearer the point.

I have been trying to work some deal on a couple of his 914's through Jeff for what, a year now? They guy is though to get a hold of. Jeff knows him, so if someone wants one of the cars (or two or three), try going through Jeff. He seems to have the best luck with him.
Sad to see the cars sitting out in the rain. They probably all have batteries in them too. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) |

My point was expressed in my other post. If he is going to do something with the cars, I wish him all the luck. But, I have seen them rotting in the yard under broken branches and rain for going on 5 years. We all know how 914 owners are, he probably is no exception. When he "realizes" he is working with three rusty pieces of metal, his enthusiasm will probably fizzle. Im not trying to doubt anybody or question their reasons, Im just calling a spade a spade.
