Just when you thought that you had a place to go on Saturday morning in the OC for car culture ; Irvine cars+coffee will be shutting down after Dec. 27, 2014. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
According to an article in Jalopnik, it's about noise complaints from the nearby apartment complex and hotel.
Irvine cars + coffee is looking to relocate, but nothing on the immediate horizon. This was a great gathering of cars and gearheads, and will be missed.
Anyone have access to a huge mall- sized parking lot ?
Marty

Seriously?
This is just like all the people that moved into the apartments directly adjacent to the concert venue then had the gall to complain about the noise from the concerts.
Uh, Deal with it. Duh.

OMG (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That location was perfect and easily accessible from the 405 and 5 freeways. The turnouts each Saturday were huge and the packing was more than adequate.

Lucky your not into planes. Small airports get shut down all the time by people who buy homes next to airports. Go figure.
