I installed my new Dr Evil transmission but went to hook up the clutch cable and the clutch pedal doesn't come all the way up from the floor, it only comes about 80% up. And when I push it to the floor, it does not seem to disengage completely. Last time I installed my rebuilt (original) tranny, no adjustment to the cable was needed. Since this is a different core, are there adjustments to be made? Is it all adjustable at the end of the clutch cable?

I think there is supposed to be a spacer behind the adjustment nut.

See picture below. You are missing the part between 61 and 62.

You can use oversized nuts as spacers.

you're missing the little clip that retains the cable where it enters the bracket too. double nut the threaded end after you find the correct adjustment.
