This is my first Porsche so im not sure what any of this "extra" stuff is worth , lol

If it's a 914 transmission, it's a "914 transmission"
The 901 transmission was for the early 911 so it spins the other direction for a rear mounted engine.
The 901 also came in 4 and 5 speed.

If what you got as extra parts is another engine and transmission, the 1.8 May be worth 200-500 bucks depending upon condition and if you can prove it runs.

The 914 transmission core is about the same price, maybe a bit less.

Actually, a 901 is a 914 and a 911/912 transmission. So calling it a 901 is completely correct as long as the annotation of 914 is added.

Yep all the same stuff, mostly just different nose cones and shift bits.
