While I was installing the Tangerine rear pickup point heim rod brace kit (nice kit btw!), I substituted the small sheet metal plates for these steel discs. The steel discs are machined from 3" dia. cold roll stock. The contoured shape will fit right into the dimples in the 914 firewall, and welded into place. The new solid base offers a nice flat area to weld the rod brace brackets to.Attached Image
