on my 73 the canister on drivers side of tank has 3 nipples,2 are about 3/8 and one is very small.i have a question about 3/8 nipple hose on passenger side,cant find where to connect hose from cannister.the other one on drivers side i see the connection .picture would be great

You should have two 10mm black hoses near the driver's side hood hinge. They go into the inner fender well. Both of these go back to the engine bay.
