Ok, I'm confused on this regulator button. There missing on my 914, and my question is were do they go, and who sells them. I looked for them on 914rubber, but didn't find them. Help. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

It is most likely nobody knows what you are talking about. I don't.

Maybe try a picture?

I do,
It's the little round button that is used to slide up the early windows. The real question is prong on the worm drive still attached?

I got my hands on a few cheapo knock offs, but I'm looking at making a serviceable assembly to use the later style rollers that I already make as the dimensions are the same for the roller (go figure they used the same size track).

Yes crappy pics but you get the idea.
It would be a ball socket added into the worm drive. I'm awaiting a sample to check and see if this is feasible.

Thanks Mikey914, that's exactly what I was looking for. Especially the pictures, they explain it a lot better compared to what I had. So where can I buy these early window regulator buttons?

You can't. And even if you could, there is a reason yours are missing. They were press fitted on the prong and once they're off, you can't get new ones (if they were available) to stay on there.

What we need is a repair kit similar to this:
