Another item on my winter list was "install 914rubber new eyebrow grommets on the passenger side."
Pass side fender was replaced at one point...they did a decent job, but used braise. I had some problems with fit, so I temporarily used Velcro. The Velcro held water. I don't know why I'm still surprised when a simple task turns into a lot of work. The headlight holder was rusty, as was the headlight cap and bucket (especially along the outer seam). I ended up tearing everything apart, hitting the parts with a wire wheel, treating with Ospho and repainting. Took measurements with a dial caliper so I could get the headlight adjustment screws close during reassembly. It took some fiddling to get the headlights aligned properly, but 3 days later, those new grommets got installed!
