I'd say that looks close to being a variant of the VW Joker, it's not like the single or double cab transporters.

A fun find, Andy! So, what's the poop on these cars? Why are they being hoarded yet neglected?

I wonder what the story is on the the 5th car, how it has a vintage Dutch license plate...looks like a euro delivery temp plate. I have the same type of plate from when my parents lived in Holland in '68.

VW did make some custom orders, like the fridolin mail van, but a good possibility is it's a South American custom order truck.
If you bought enough they would make it.

The last black teener has an odd lower rear valance. Never seen one like that.

Did you get all the vins for SirAndy?

I noticed the same thing, pretty wild rear valance.
What did the front valance look like?

Very interesting. The first car pictured appears to have clear lenses for front turn signals and there don't appear to be any side marker lights....European issue?

Doubt it. In the second picture, you can see that the lenses were once orange and there appears to be body filler under the paint where the sidemarker used to be.

I'll ask the question since no one else has yet. Any chance of these becoming available, either as complete or parts?

Maybe, it's in the works now but it will take awhile for the paperwork. I think there's a body lined up for whats here already. can you say "Track Car" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

All these car's were new entries to the database. Keep it growing!!!

The vw truck is a "hormiga" or basistransporter-pretty rare.
