- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Anyone out there have a gear set to drop my RPM on the freeway. Any help would be appreciated.

When I rebuilt mine with him a couple years ago I used ha and x for 4 and 5, I think that ha was flipped to make the 5 like a 5.5 or so and the 4 is just a bit more than regular. I get almost 500 -600 less rpm at freeway speed which gives me about 32mpg on my 75 2.0. But I stay in 4th now on the local hwy at 60 mph or under. The only draw back was up in t he mountain s at Octeenerfest. But that time I would have preferred to have the standard 4th gear. I have a standard box too and might put that in for a future mountain trip. |
