I'd like to add a 3rd brake light, and do like the one I have on the Jetta, but looks like I would be brake light challenged to even begin to mount/make that work? Probably wouldn't work, as it was designed to be inside.

How did you mount it on the underside and still be able to be visible from the rear. Did you make a wedge or something. Any chance of a close up shot of this. Thanks

The shape of the LED tape is oval which makes it visible from several angles. Mounting it on the underside looks a little cleaner, hidden, and still very bright.
