A few photos of a Brumos 914. And a 935, too.

Great photos. I thought this was pretty funny. I was up early on Friday morning about dawn and saw a huge possum on the track (there was no racing on Friday morning) and thought that was odd. Now I know better: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

From Tudor:
In one of the race’s stranger moments, the No. 44 Magnus Racing Porsche 911 GT America of Andy Lally went to the paddock with what was diagnosed as an oil leak. Upon further inspection, however, the team realized it had struck a possum that broke the splitter and tub and into the front of the car.

Should have called the "Turtleman" to remove that possum! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That's not the Championship 914-6 - it might not even be a Real Brumos car

Is that a Tangerine color? If not what? It looks like a deep orange and not Signal.

Brumos cars were Tangerine when they weren't White

I took the photos before they mounted the plaques adjacent to the cars on display indicating the car histories, so I can't really verify its history. I assumed the Brumos lettering on the doors would only be there if it was a Brumos car. I believe they built and maintained several 914's for customers, in various configurations and colors. I know I saw on a couple of occasions in the past, at Roebling Road and Daytona, when Brumos was more active in historics, the Brumos transporter with a fleet of 914's on display.
