Let me know and I'll forward the whole email to you. They are having some kinda swap meet too. You LA guys might just go by there.
Just an FYI but Serria Madre has New Bumper tops, rear or front for $220. No web orders you have to call them. I sure wish I had been prepared to spend about $440. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

nice. good information, tempting.
Can anyone comment on buying these vs. what else is out there? In previous browsing, I believe 914 rubber, as well as Auto Atlanta are offering these as well, albeit at different pricing. thanks all! |

I do know 914 rubber (mikey914) is on the 2nd revision of his, IIRC the internal reinforcement wasn't easy to get right.

Also, a few years ago is pointless, parts are getting harder to find on a daily basis, good luck finding the same condition top for the same price today. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I have sold NOS Porsche bumper tops for $600. Even good used ones bring $150 or better. |

Ordered a front today. The girl at Sierra Madre thought tomorrow is the last day of the sale, so if you are considering one of these, don't hesitate much longer. Yes, the price was 220.00 as stated at the beginning of this thread. Shipping extra of course.

If I needed a set I would have jumped for the 220 price. These are a very low volume product and takes a while for the manufacturer just to break even, let alone make a profit. No profit means no future supply. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
