021 101 371 S would this be the part number for 1.8 Porsche cylinder head. I know its not 2.0 found that part number earlier. It's 039 101 371 A

Hmm 2nd and 3rd grouping identical. Getting somewhere now.

Second group is the general area of the part. Third group is the specific part. Letter suffix or two-digit suffix (if any) is a revision or version indicator.

That is the number for a 1.8 head, yes.

Thanks for the help. Glad they are 914 heads. Valves are oversized and at this point not sure what else has been done to them. Thanks for the nice spreadsheet link.
