Craigslist. Dc or Baltimore if I remember correctly. A pretty nice set for about $700. Good luck.

Hey Big Len, those are nice. Realized it's hard to find a good set like these. Seen many that are either damaged or bent since they aren't forged. Wished I lived a little closer to them though.... |

Pay'em a hundred bucks extra to ship (shipping included). Or find a member nearby to pick them up and ship. |

Hey guys! Time for me to find a set of Mahle for my special edition conversion project. Local p/u and no tires preferred. Thanks, kkid (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Found my Minilites, so I'll have a set of 5 for sale and ready to ship by the end of next week. Looking to get $150/each, will sell you only four if that's all you need (5th one is the spare - the original owner ordered the Mahles with the car). They're not polished like the others you've seen through this thread. |

No, the tires will go on the Minilites. I received a PM from another board member expressing an interest in the Mahles, and I've sent him pictures and a quote of $150/each, not including shipping. I have 5 available (original owner ordered the car with Mahles), along with a set of lug bolts. |

You (pvollma) add a post in an active WTB thread that you may have a set of wheels available if you find the wheels you are looking for. Then when you find your Minilites you offer the Mahles to another member before you make sure the person (kkid) to whom you initially offered them to (yes, you did by adding the post that they might be available) can make an offer to buy them? That sucks. |

That sucks. I didn't "offer" them to the WTB poster, I just made a statement of possible availability. I didn't "offer" them to the another member, he contacted me, expressed an interest, and responded to my replies with a phone call and a firm offer. I notified the original WTB requester that another person was interested in them. Why should I have to wait some unknown amount of time for a possible sale, when I have a committed buyer on the phone? What about the guy who "offered" his Mahles for sale, and then withdrew his post before the original poster could make an offer? Did that "suck" too? Who appointed you the arbiter of suckiness? |

I would sell my wheels for my original post to Kkid, but I realized looking at the picture that the lug area was not polished out, and I'm going to take them back to Al Reeds and get them completed. I believe you did offer them to Kkid, you stated the price he asked a question on the wheels and with in a couple of hours you sold them , we are assuming with out kkid passing on your price. If he did pass on them via pm's that would change things, but by the way you responded I doubt there was any. Anyways KKid did you look at the samba? 4 for 480 shipped 2 priced high, but have been for sale a long time same seller, 1 wheel better price than the other 2 I have 2 sets of 5 I had put together mostly buying singles, It might not be the fast way but CSOB way does work. If your having them cleaned up and painted A good wheel guy should be able to clean up mild curb rash. here is a look at what is on my 74 not for sale, but all 5 had some curb rash before I had them done |

Thanks guys for the offers and information. I am still looking mainly in my area. The rims don't have to be perfect since they will be painted anyway.
