I would like a hood like this to vent my radiator. Reminds me of the GT1 hood. Anyone know where to get vents like these?

I kinda dig it! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif) probably flows air like a mutha at speed!
Plus, no inner fender cutting. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) |

Scott: Never thought about just buying the hood and grafting. Problem is that hood is something like $1000 which is a bit more than I had planned on spending on vents. As for the GT1 even if I could get the hood and scoop I don't think I would cut them. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

You could always cut, bend and bondo up a hood to look like that.
I think it's totally custom. (gotta make it yourself) How would you drain all the water out when it rains? |

I have to agree, that is exactly what I thought when I saw it. Looks just like the batmobile. Same color and everything. |

It's actually a hood for a 3rd generation RX7. There are actually a few hoods for the RX7 that are vented similarily. That is where I got the idea for venting my radiator through the hood instead of the wheel wells.
Good point about the rain. Guess you would need a drain of some sort. |

The other problem is the heat from the radiator will come right over the top of your windshield while you drive. Unless you have AC and never take the top off.
