FYI - I think they're still available as retro repop's from Lucas Tire (CA & OH + Longstone Tyre in UK & can ship to Lucas even if not listed on Lucas), Universal, Coker, etc. - if you want drivable/usable ones. IIRC they also have repop Pirelli Cintricato's in that size which also were factory correct on 914s.
Also FYI - we don't look at tire date stamps nor era of production in PCA Zone & Region Concours, & even at Parade where originality is judged, it's period correct make/type/size even if new repops - not "made in the 1970's". When I say repop = reproduction/new run by original mfgr., vs. repro = reproduction by another aftermarket mfgr. Good Luck either way! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
