I would like to make my front spoiler quickly removable, and maybe the bumper too.
They are both fiberglass aftermarket parts; the bumper is currently mounted in a basically stock fashion except there are no threaded brackets attached so there are nuts on the front (foghorn grille) side with the stock type bolts on the wheel whell side. The spoiler is affixed to the body with machine screws & nyloc nuts. Looking for tips and hopefully pics showing how to use dzus fasteners or latch toggles etc. to accomplish this. If it would be highly beneficial, I suppose I could glass the two pieces together, as I have seen some guys do, but I would rather not do that in case I trash the spoiler in a track "off". TIA, |
