So upon further inspection it appears that when I convert from the KYB/spring rear shock setup I currently have to the Boge/Sachs strut and new spring setup I WANT to have, I will need some parts:
From the PET they are (I believe): #3 - 914 333 521 01 #4 - 914 333 503 00 #5 - 901 333 511 00 #6 - 914 333 053 01 I don't know about #2. There is no P/N referenced in PET that I can see. Is this all I need? |

I may have those parts but I wont be able to check until Sat late morning.
I do believe that Boge is different from Sachs? If someone that knows for sure could chime in that would be great. |

Thanks Luke. My understanding is they merged or the line was purchased and now they are Sachs-Boge.

Make your shopping list for bruce/bdstone914. shock parts, trans parts, ect. Always a pleasure to buy from him. I think I've bought at least one thing from him in the past, and you're right Mark. Easy doing business with him. I have already sent Bruce a PM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Hey Bruce
Are the spring hats and perches different sizes between Boge, Koni and Bilstein ? Point is will his current springs fit the hats. I also need to dump the Kill Your Back rear shocks and may want to go sachs as I have them on the front. How many of those spring perch sets do you have? Maybe you can take some to the phoenix club. |

I don't HAVE spring hats/perches currently. They are integrated into the KYB shocks I am replacing and can't be removed (they're welded on). Realized that after I got one shock out of the car and compared it to the new shock I took out of the box. That was one of those Doh! moments (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Bruce was able to find me items 3, 4, and 5 (I believe). Part 6 in the diagram above, 914 333 053 01, the rubber stop or spring, is NLA and he has none in stock. AA is advertising THIS PART as a replacement. Anyone use this before or know if it will work?
