I have deleted my side marker lights and thinking about installing LED amber strips on each side of the car. Does anyone make a narrow external use amber LED strip that has adhesive tape or just a LED amber strip that I can stick in the area in the front bumper, fender clearance slot (see red arrow on the photo. Photo is not my car). I have minimal knowledge about LED strips. Are they be reliable for repeated blinking and the outdoor elements?

I don't know how effective they would be, that low on the car, compared to other drivers line of sight in taller cars. I like the idea though.

This stuff can be cut to length and new wires can be soldered on.

There was an episode of Fantomworks where a guy had the garage replace his Avanti's side marker with a flush LED strip, maybe 4 inches long by 3/4" wide. It was horizontal. It actually looked pretty good.

The side markers were put in their position by regulation for the American market.
Today the reflector and or led can be a more suitable shape in a custom fabrication.
A castable clear or tinted epoxy with internal lenses and an adhesive backing for the led array.
Frenched into the fender skin,it would look ok and appear stockish.

Any Flaps has stick on led strips. Cut with scissors to length and wire in. Blue white red I've seen. Not Amber though. About 3/8" x 2 - 12" strips.
