We've established the following rules to help make your sales/purchases as successful as possible!
- Please List WTB:, FS:, TRADE: etc (want to buy, for sale, and trade respectively) before your add title.
- You *must* put a price in your ad and state how you would like payment!
- If you'd like to bump your ads, feel free to do so every two days.
- DO NOT MAKE YOUR ADS IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS! It's considered rude.
- All eBay ads belong in the eBay category.
- Please consolidate your ads into one big lump... listings and pictures together in one thread. Please be considerate of other classified users!!
- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

By the time he has taken a photo, listed, sold, packaged, mailed, updated inventory, and paid eBay and pp fees, he will be negative $

When I bought my 914 I ordered parts from AA, not knowing any better. I returned more parts than I kept, wrong parts and back orders galore. I ordered a front spoiler from them, charged me $106.00 shipping and it was the wrong one! I ordered a throttle body boot for my 1.8L. It was back ordered for over a year. Then, without any notice, it shows up at my door and my bank account was debited $86.00! Hell, I could have sold the car by then. Then I discovered this site and vendors like Pelican, Automotion, Paragon, 914 Rubber & Tangerine Racing. Rock Auto has a few parts also, like Bosch fuel pumps for $128, not $200-$300 like the other thieves. Like the song says,"You Got to Shop Around".

Come on guys, you know it's all about un-restored originality these days... Just watch Chasing Classics and the other shows - the barn find, ratty, original hunks are worth big bucks in the current market.

The hell with repairing my surface rust and fixing my door cards. I just ordered this light and am letting the car sit outside under sappy pine trees. I might even leave the windows open. I'm on the way to making my teener worth something!

I lucked into not dealing with AA - emailed them about their reproduction sheetmetal before buying my car and never got a response. Sent the same inquiry to Restoration Design and got a reply the same day. Guess who I spent my hard-earned money with? Not the broken, worthless, useless backlight-selling AA.
Sorry - rant over.

Maybe they should add a disclaimer on all their parts like "Not intended for actual use on any vehicle on or off road."

I am tempted to buy it and submit a claim through eBay and paypal of item received not as described. Just to fuch with him. And leave negative feedback. Surprised he is at 99.6 % positive.

With all I had going on in my life to remember an 8 month old Back Order. ...and without notice.
I am a brave soul but that takes balls... great business practice AA.

Now I've made my disgust with G known. I've also defended him on rare occasion, when I saw he was being wrongly attacked.

So here I go.....

You guys really need to settle down here. It's called patina. It usually costs quite a bit more. It shows and items original, unrestored, unchanged state of use. Patina show the life, tells a story, it IS the items history book opened to the last page, begging to be read backwards. Patina doesn't just happen overnight. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Give Patina Atlanta a break and appreciate all they do for you and your cars (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I did this. I had a quiet moment appreciating lionel.atlanta.

Finally got to understand what a nano second is.

Thank you, Scotty.

For a real treat, order their engine designation emblem for the rear panel. Once you get it, try making it fit the factory holes. It won't. Although, you can hone out the holes or delete a prong or two. Hell, you can even use velcro. Whenever I see a part from AA and I contemplate buying it, I strap on my kneepads and get ready to be driven around the block. I also take a morning after pill, because I'm probably going to get Fuched. Caveat emptor!

I saw the ebay listing and thought it must be an April Fools joke. Nope, listing was from last month.

Maybe next we will see jars of genuine 914 rust particles. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
