So somewhere in my stash of bags, I lost the little bolt that holds the speedometer drive gear to the transmission.

Where can I get one of these? What's the threading/pitch on that little bolt?

Note, it has to have that little tip to stick into the side of the angle drive casing thingy.

Thanks. I did look through http://bowlsby.net/914/Classic/zTN_Man02.pdf on page 55.

which shows the bolt, washer and a threaded insert?

http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/origi...914_KATALOG.pdf on page 113/114.

It looks like parts numbers:

901 378 272 03 - hexgon head bolt (no size...prob M8/1.0)
900 031 001 02 - washer 8mm od/4mm id
999 504 070 00 - threaded insert

I don't believe I have the threaded insert in there either. Any transmission guru's point me in the right direction?

Thanks for all the help!!
