I have a set of original 914/6 factory mags that I am looking to sell. One wheel has bad curb rash, another has a small crack, and the other 2 are in better condition. I am wondering if I should repair them and what a fair price to repair them would be along with how much they are worth fixed up or left the way they are. If anyone knows anything or just wants to express their opinion that would be appreciated.

Gas Burners are worth some money. Not sure how much, though.
Have Harvey fix 'em. I would be scared to mess with magnesium alloy, myself. If the wheels are something else, they're probably not worth as much. The 5.5x14 Fuchs "windmill" wheels were also an option, but they aren't as well regarded as the cast magnesium gas burners. They tend to go for a lot less $$. --DD |
