Question,
I have strut housings from Boge with this part number on it 911-341-041-03 and 911-341-042-03 Im going to go out on a limb and say the 41 42 difference will be left and right I am trying to buy bilstein inserts for these. Thats because i have Bilstein on the back of my car. I talked to my Bilstein Vendor and he told me i could buy either 34-001141 Or 34-001127 From what he said the diffrence is the valving. Outside of that he can not tell me anything Does anyone have any experience picking this stuff? Thanks, Colin |

34-001141 is for a 85 and later Boge strut housing that utilized the female threaded gland nut.
34-001127 is for earlier 911 & 914 Boge struts that used a male threaded gland nut. So, if your strut housings accept a female threaded gland nut, use 34-001141, if they accept a male gland nut, use 34-001127. IMHO, your vendor should know this. |
