I had a chance to go out today and visit John Kelly who is doing the flarework on Zachs car. (see other thread)
Wow, the one side is really impressive as it looks factory in shape. Maybe more like how the factory should have made the rear end so we could fit wider tires. John will be making a video of how to do this for the home hobbyist. This should be a boon to all us nonbodyworkers besides cutting and slapping on some FG flares. Just a few basic tools (a JP hammer), a dolly and maybe John's shrinking disc. I hope he puts it out in VHS and DVD formats for us so all can get it.

I have been wanting to check out John's place for awhile. I think it'll be soon, as long as the invite is still good.

Hi Geoff,

It was nice meeting you. Thanks for letting me putter around in your car. I'm going to have to get used to that shift pattern! It really is a nice feeling to sit that low to the ground in a real sports car again. Thanks for the kudos.

Dave,

You are welcome to stop by. Just let me know when it is convenient for you. ghiafab@msn.com
