Bought some 914rubber seat covers by way of stevegm. Super nice product but...there is still more to do before they can go on. The seats are very rough cores so I hope to replace as much foam as possible.
I am going to the upholstery shop tomorrow to see what they can source for new foam, wire and metal brackets. I will also trace out new pressboard and cardboard. I ordered some seat heaters off eBay. I will also pick up matching bolters from 914rubber. Disassembly is always the easy part. Attached image(s) |

Try Autos International in Vista CA &/or World Upholstery in Ventura CA area - I think one or both have the formed foam kits for the stock 914 seats when they do interior restos.
