The black trim and black targa bar really set it off. Very nice.

I have always been a bit sceptical of a targa, but that color wins me over. It looks really grand. Really grand, and the letters are perfect. Couldn't be better...unless you was painting a 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

Beautiful color............ there is one of these in my neighborhood, under a carport for 20+ years....... The old fella that owns it uncovers it 2-3 times a year, spends the day wiping it down then recovers it.... ONE DAY I will get him to sell it to me......

I thought Carreras were from 84 and on, and before that they were SC? I am no expert but before SCs in 73 there was the limited production Carrera RS, in 74/75 they offered a Carrera, (not the same animal as the RS however) 76 to 77 the Carrera became the turbo or 930. 78 brought in the SC. |

That is diamond blue little darker than marathon
Yes 74 and 75 US Carreras were built in limited numbers. For 75 395 coupes and 174 targa's only. Flares, suspension, brakes, black trim, 15 x 7 and 8 fuchs, and a high trim level were the main differences. They still had the US CIS 2.7 vs the euro MFI motor though. |
