I've installed this kit on my car. Got it operational before I tore it apart for paint. I can measure the cutout for the pneumatic cylinder if someone needs it. Tangerines bolt in anchor is a great idea if you don't want to repaint.

Actually made a very simple mount that I threw in for the last GB for those that needed it.
It's a bot that can mount on the dash and is secured by the flange that goes on the front of the dash. I'll do some more up. for those that want them.

Pull to open, but then have to push down on them to close, right? Or is this an open and close solution?

Zach

Sorry I didn't see the question. You have it right with open only, manually close.

This is about $150 cheaper than I have ever seen them.

Last group buy someone other than Mark did took about 5 years and I think people never got their kits...someone will find the epic thread about it.

I am in for 1.

It looks like the pull handle uses the same mounting base as the front trunk release. Does that mean that I have to use hood pins on my front trunk?

Thanks

David

You don't have to give up the stock trunk release to use the GT headlight setup.
The new pull handle can go on the dash.

Final pricing is $368 per kit. so a little less. Some of their costs went up too.

So the appeal of this product is weight savings for the Racer or cost over replacing electrical components of the headlamp system?
