A guy I know has a big beautiful Kenworth w900 on a stretch frame with a sleeper the size of a small house.
He hauls exotic cars for Steel Toys. He just put in a set of JW Speaker LED headlights. Holly Crap !!!! The most amazing headlights ever !!!! Made in the USA (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) About $700 a side for the KW ! They make the 8700 high/low beam 7" that looks like it should bolt right in to the 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) With the anti flicker module they run about $350 a side. (http://www.amazon.com/JW-Speaker-8700-Evolution-Headlight/dp/B00GMRM3KA) They also make them with various surround lighting. Now all I have to do is find $700 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) After some more surfing, JW Speaker makes high beams in 90mm, 4", 4.5". Also fogs. Don't remember what size my fogs are but this would be sweet. Come on PowerBall ! My 914 is lusting for new lights !!!!!!!!!! |

Wow, nice! I wonder how long they'll last... most LEDs don't do well when they get hot from too much current.
Still, that would be a nice upgrade. Maybe after the paint. I'm still saving up for a few more rattle cans. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

I had a set on my last 914 but the smaller fog light size in the fog location.
Awesome lights. Harley Davidson uses these and slaps their name on them for their bikes. They are very high quality and made in America. |

I've found these for under $300 a side, still super pricey...eventually I'd still like to use them, either in my 914 or my old Willys Jeep, either one would be a major win over the stock lights. This product is a tough sell with the 914 CSOB crowd and hell, at that price its about 15% of what I purchased my car for (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
I bet someone has done this but doesnt want to admit they spent that much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) |

Do they act as external speakers as well? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
