Has anyone installed the Jonsey billet tuna can and had a problem with the sensor ?
Mine does not appear to be cooperating...

Do you mean the taco plate and the oil temp sensor?

If they chromate or anodize the "billet" (assuming aluminum) then yes you could have a grounding issue.
You can check continuity from the temp sensor body to the engine case.
Should be less than 10 Ohms (preferably less than 0.1 Ohms).

Jim, I insalled the same sensor on mine as you but did not have an issue. But I have an aftermarket gauge and it runs about 30 degrees higher than the dipstick temperature thermometer. I wonder if you just have a bad wire, ?

Good possibility. Gonna check it tomorrow when I reach San Simeon.
