I've been trolling around for a 2.0/six muffler bracket ("boomerang") for a while and on a whim I went ahead and bid on the AA repro part on ebay last week. I figured if they stiffed me the $20-30 I could slam them in ebay feedback and on all the boards, which would be kind of fun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

To my great surprise the part arrived at my door within 7 days and is of quite decent quality. I don't have a factory one to compare it with (duh, that's why I bought this one) but it sure looks identical per my fuzzy memory.

The shipping seemed a couple bucks on the steep side but I still think $29 for a -new- part, without having to leave my desk, ain't bad at all.

I'm friggen shocked.

(DON'T construe this to mean that I'll buy everything from them in the future, LOL, they're still a "vendor of last resort" in my book).

Buying from them through ebay is probably safer. They have to be accountable to their feedback. I guess they don't give a shit about their "internet" reputation.

ayup, I agree with anthony on this one. I've bought a couple little items from treadway and they were usually timely and fairly described. No bargains, though.

It's nice to hear a good vendor experience, regardless of who it is.

I've bought a few things from them on ebay without any problems at all. If I need something an they have it up on ebay I will probably buy again from them also. No complaints.
