Andy, I downloaded that Blanks 77 song and it friggen rocks! I had a friend play another one of their songs on the radio (KZSC 88.1 Monday nights from 10:30-12:30 www.kzsc.org , support him) on his punk show.

Today it's Jack Johnson, The Beach Boys and Ray LaMontagne.
Yesterday it was Jay-Z and TI. I'm hardly ever in the same musical mood two days in a row. |

Right now, I have my 900 mhz JVC wireless headphones pipping in HBO. Some Army Ranger movie with Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson.
Last music I listened to was Usher/ Confessions, and Spongebob Sqaurepants (Boating License) that I ripped for the boys. Meredith, any Maroon 5 or Franz Ferdinand in your collection? |

Maroon 5, yes. But the more they're played on the radio, the fewer appearances they make in my CD player. I haven't enjoyed Franz Ferdinand enough to buy their CD. Although that might be a result of radio overplay as well. |

Sunday mornings are Ch: 72 (Pure Jazz) on Sirius. There is a "Blue Note" program that is pretty great. After 12:00 I take it to the garage and start listening to the Old-School Rap station (Backspin). It's pretty sad that the songs I grew up listening to are now the 'Classic Rock' of Rap.
I found a bunch of old Black Flag and Dead Kennedys CDs that I listened to as a kid...Some of it is great, some of it is REAL CRAP! |
