I have at least 6 transmission cases that are in (seemingly) perfect condition that I got when I picked up a truck full of 914 parts from a friend. I had previously dismantled all of these to sell off gears and what not. Is there any use for these things in the foreseeable future?

Save for the next Transmission clinic.
Send to Dr Evil. Make a engine test stand. Turn them into funky furniture. Melt them down into ingots. Recycle at a scrap yard. Give them as Christmas gifts. |

helpful as engine stands
I cut a large window in the shifter side of one of mine to use in adjusting the shifter forks....works perfectly. Also, save the tail pieces, they break and are not simple to find seperate. rich |
