We've established the following rules to help make your sales/purchases as successful as possible!
- Please List WTB:, FS:, TRADE: etc (want to buy, for sale, and trade respectively) before your add title.
- You *must* put a price in your ad and state how you would like payment!
- If you'd like to bump your ads, feel free to do so every two days.
- DO NOT MAKE YOUR ADS IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS! It's considered rude.
- All eBay ads belong in the eBay category.
- Please consolidate your ads into one big lump... listings and pictures together in one thread. Please be considerate of other classified users!!
- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts and prayers, it's all very appreciated.
I'll let Mark know about your idea Kent, that stuff is up to him since it's his time being spent dealing with it.

Got everything paid for sent out today, I'll PM tracking info. Thanks for the purchases.
Have a 6 hr chemo session tomorrow so things will move slower till the weekend.

Thanks again for all the well wishes,
Jeff

Heartfelt wishes for the absolute best miracle-outcome for a turnaround for your health challenge and we wish you well in your fight to beat this thing.

I concur with the idea of creating a bidding situation/opportunity that would bring you and your wife (and others in the future) the best price for items and would, at the same time, bolster the camaraderie of the 914 bunch by opening up the opportunity to actually succeed in buying a much needed item.

Maybe this is a new segment of the 914 world venue / FSTHB / For Sale to Highest Bidder...... admittedly, this concept is a little capitalistic which is no longer in vogue, but in this particular case, a little bit wider audience of buyer/bidders would result in more cash for our pal in need of support in this trying time in his life.

Jeff - I've never met you and I don't believe we've ever conversed directly through this forum, but I've read many of your responses and, on a selfish note, I hope you are willing to continue to give your insight and experiences on this site throughout your therapy. You are highly regarded here.

Well said.
I bought some side glass from Jeff a few months ago at his spread outside of Sacramento. He answered my WTB on World. We pulled the glass out of one of his parts cars. He could have asked a crazy price for the glass and I probably would have paid it. He didn't. I offered him a price and he said no. " I'm not doing this to make money"...
We spent a couple of hours together that Saturday and as a relative newbie, I just listened. His level of skill and his passion for pushing the 914 to its limits was inspirational.
So very sorry that you're going through this Jeff. Fight onO

Best of luck with the chemo session Jeff. Keep your spirits up! We're all pulling for you. I know you're purging your extra stuff but is there anything you need to complete your 3.2 car? Trim, a gauge, something that needs to be replaced? Anything like that? It's a trivial question given the circumstances but a nice distraction to focus your mind on something "normal" that's in your control. If I have anything you need in my stash it's yours.

Hi Jeff

We met about 6 months ago at a gas station in Penryn, just off I-80, I'm the guy with the black /6. I too have an incurable cancer, mine in the blood. Let me know if I can be of help.

Damn it! Be positive and determined! Both you and Sled. There is another guy I just found out about who has defeated a serious bout twice. It can happen.

I missed that Ontario '67 plate I'd really love one in that condition.

Well I made it through my Chemo on Wednesday, 6 1/2 hours was a little rough.
Attached Image

It really kicked my butt, took me till Sunday before I finally felt OK again....lots of naps. Then spent Sunday and Monday watching movies with my granddaughter.
Back for another round tomorrow, but only 2 hrs this week, then a week off, need to plan a drive in the car during the week off....good therapy.

Wow, can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all the great comments, and thoughts, both here and by PM...been overwhelming to read them all, impossible to put into words how much it means...this is an amazing group of people...but we already knew that. It has and continues to be a pleasure to be apart of something so great. Even though the odds are stacked against me I'll go down fighting all the way, or become the guy that beat the odds...thanks to everyone for your prayers and encouragement.

As far as my car, thanks to Mark its mechanically done and running awesome, still have a few things on my list I'm trying to get done, been shopping for tires to get the 16 X 7 fuchs I bought from Jamie about two years ago on the car, hoping to have that done in the next week or so. Then I have a set of early bumpers (no tits) I want to get some body work finished, then painted and swapped onto the car with a set of new bumper tops from Mikey. That should get it to the look I've been aiming for. Then just drive it every chance I can. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I'll have to get my build thread updated.

Thanks again for all the good thoughts, and the parts purchased...its all going into finishing my car.

Jeff
