Yes, Renegade has them.

http://www.renegadehybrids.com/corvetteclu...lutchforks.html
http://www.renegadehybrids.com/accessories.htm

Bottom of either page for more info. 1-866-498-2421 to call them and ask them questions.

I relocated my battery to the front trunk and love it! No more corrosion issues and my engine compartment looks much better without a heavy battery sitting on the top!

By the way, I'm running a red top Optima, and I've run my stereo, head lights for extended periods of time, and other electrical stuff without the engine charging it, and have never charged it with a plug-in battery charger! It came charged after I bought mine at the auto parts store.

Excellent battery that can mounted upside down! This one has been well thought out!

Or go with the double-bungee-cord-attachment method (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

I just took some door seal/wind lace from a Honda, cut it to size and slipped it over the stock holders.
Works good and tight.

If you got a bench grinder, you can radius your stock hold down. Also be sure to cover the radiused hold down, and the hold down edge on the fender wall with some 1/4 inch rubber tubing, split so that it slips over, this will prevent the holddown, and edge from chewing into the Optima. Simple modification

what you want to find is a Group 78 Adapter. try calling 888-8OPTIMA. they will give you a list of retailers that probably don't have any in stock. then call them back, explain the situation and they might send you one direct. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) these items are degined to work perfectly. why hassle with grinding, test fitting, grinding some more to try to make the stock clamp work? there was a guy with a box full of the adapters at the goodguys show last year. i should have grabbed ten of them.

does that work in the stock battery tray? the beauty of the Group 78 is you just take the bolt out and change the adapter . handy for us guys with stock battery locations.

I am considering the move of the battery to the front trunk today, I was at the Marine store which is a great source for stainless fasteners, hardware, clamps and wiring needs. Should I go with #2 wire or #1. Where did should I run the cables, I was thinking inside the heat tubes in the longs since there not used for heat anymore. The center tunnel seems a bit crowded after i've run braided SS lines through it.
