I will start, I have to change out the front and rear shocks on the 74, install front and rear sway bars, tires, some body work and primer, front steering fixes like tie rods and ball joints, check the brakes, they feel weak and change out the heat exchangers and install the 2 liter ones with muffler, install front fiberglass bumper, euro lenses all the way around and replace a few hoses. The Chalon, I am still waiting for the rear roller control arm bushings, I need to swap out one front strut, bleed the brakes again, alignment on front and rear, finish installing the carpet and speakers, block and primer the body, secure the battery, trunk release, rear Porsche reflector, Engman pedals, and weather striping. Of course I need to go back through and double check everything and then dial the engine in so it runs perfect. Or as perfect as I can get. Its going to be close. Hopefully some of the boys will come help me out with some of it.

I need to reinstall my engine mount bar, (pulled it out to copy it for Larry) repair some body damage, and do some detail work like cleaning and painting etc. It's not a show car but it's just as much fun.

Lets see. Since December I have gotten a ton of things done on the car but I still have a few things to do. So far I have:

+Stripped down the floorpans to metal, POR-15'd them and fixed a couple rust holes by welding in new metal.
+Adjusted the window cranks and door handles to operate more smoothly
+installed 4 new rubber seals (engine lid, front trunk, rear-edge of window seals
+Finished the carpeting
+replaced the brake master cylinder
+installed new flexible rubber brake lines
+new seals and pads on front brakes
+installed sway bar in front
+replaced rear springs with 140 lb springs
+replaced all four shocks
+replaced fuel lines from gas tank
+Fixed the "on" portion of the ignition switch
+registered for WCC

A few things left to do including:

-redo the valve cover seals
-pushrod tube seals
-fix the front trunk (some big holes, some rust)
-replace the targa top side seals and adjust to keep water out
-get a helmet

Thats about it. I figure thats two good weekends of work. One for the front trunk and one for the rest. Once this damn rain stops I can get back to work on it.

I just have to:
Hope the guy that's rebuilding my engine can get it finished in time.
Hope I can afford to pay him so I can get my car back.
I was hoping it might be painted by then but it's not looking good so you guys will just have to contain the snickers. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif)

I would be in much better shape if I could stick to the items on my list. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif) Instead of working on the interior like I should be, I decided today that replacing all 4 calipers would be a good idea. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) That is something that was on my 'one day in the future' list. I came across a nice set of SC brakes, so I figured "why not now?".
