F**k, I hate winter! We had a foot and half of snow last night and I've spent the last two hours shoveling my driveway and I'm not even done yet! Then I came inside and turned on CNN and saw what was going on in Cali and realized that I don't have it that bad. But my shoulder hurts (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Yeah, I hear you. In Burford we only got about 6 inches. I cleaned out the dog pen, the patio and the driveways before going to work. Still, we don't have it as bad as my brother up in Dryden; 7 foot snowbanks. He hopes it melts before next winter.

You are right! I am a native Kalifornian and this winter reminds me of the time I spent in Manchester, England not Southern CA. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Your house looks like it is sinking to me. Its getting buried in some strange white stuff, the likes of which we dont see out here in Southern California. My house is fine, its just very wet outside. It just stopped raining a minute ago which should be long enough for me to unload my truck. Stay warm everyone, I have to go to work for awhile.

We'll catch up. Seattle averages about 37 inches of rain/year. Surprisingly, that is less than many other cities (NYC, Houston, Chicago to name a few.)

The difference is we have about 120 days of rain/year, not 20.

Looks like you had a case of "The snowplow blocking you in"

Yea, CalTrans likes to do the same thing to those who live in the snow in California.

Hey CalTrans............ (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/finger.gif) Thanks for making those people shovel 3 feet of snow every morning just so they can get to work. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

We got about a foot here last night.
I'm glad the wife finally learned how to use the snow blower this year.
She usually has it done by the time i get home from work.
