Looking for a junk 60mm gauge to make a proper fuel gauge for a factory center console. Yes, we could get a new fuel gauge for peanuts but nothing in the factory 60mm size so... Palo Alto will make us one.
An old clock that doesn't work? CHT gauge? Volt? TIA |

Ten years ago, I had NH Speedo make three (3) 914/6 GT fuel gauges from 60mm Saab VDO gauges that I found on eBay for $5.00 each. The Saab gauges have the reserve light, but in a different location than on the genuine GT gauge. I actually prefer the Saab reserve light location. The final version they made for me is on the right. Except for the location of the reserve light, it most closely resembles the genuine GT fuel gauge, shown in the last picture below. Eric, NH Speedo offers the 60mm 914/6 GT fuel gauge replica in their catalog. It looks like this: Front: http://nhspeedometer.com/914/2.jpg Back: http://nhspeedometer.com/914/2a.jpg |
