Im looking to replace the hirshman antenna on my car. Not sure on the age of it but its black. Car is a 75. Everything that I could find, was they orginally came with chrome based ones. Is that correct? Or were black ones also installed by the factory???

The 1970 - 1974 had chrome Hirshcman's.

The '75 and '75 had black Hirschmans.

It's a matter of preference what you like. Both are available. The occasionally pop up on e-bay. Pretty much everyone has them

Some Hirschman power antennas also fit.

Regards,

Karl
