OK, I was driving down the street and saw this coming up the road at me. I stopped and ran up to the driver and said "What the hell is that?"
He said "I'm Charles from LN Engineering and I'm headed to Jake's with these new Nickies. We're going to run 'em on the dyno and see what we get." I said, "Aren't you going to have some clearancing problems?" He just laughed and rolled up the window. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) Attached image(s) |

I'll guess rocket motor segments for space shuttle or something like that. Were they coming from or going to Stennis?

It's the same everytime.... members don't care what it is, only how to fit it into a 914... even if that would make it slower...
These things look something beyone the point of no return... I don't think it will work. M |

Yep, I finished the longblock last night.. Now to chop up a DTM, extend the pushrod tubes about 1" and let her rip tomorrow!
(The engine is over 1" wider than a stock TIV :-) |
