Baby girl is also getting some new shoes. Dan Gurneys from purchased from Kent, then polished..... WOW! Those look great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) I really like them polished. The PO was quite proud of the powder coating job he had used. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) |

those wheels are sweet, but if they did not come with lug bolts, they could be hard to source, and the wheels have less an offset then your steelies, though this only matters if your try to stuff wider tires on your car. but these are the 2 reasons why I run steelies, though they ain't pretty, i'll admit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) , but I also got a set from Kent and they came with the lug bolts as they were previously on one of his cars. I believe the same is the case with Dave's set.
I gave Joe (KaptKaos) an old set without bolts, but he found a source for them. I'll see if I can get him to divulge that source (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) Also, Joe's running 205/55s or 60s on a narrow body without rubbing, so maybe it's possible they were available from the mfg with different back-spacing? I'm one of those weirdo's that like polishing. Mark, my tire guy sent them out. I can find out if you want. They were $300 to acid dip the powder coat off and polish. Jim, I know the offset is different, but I only went with 185/65. It's only a street car. I'll be using my other one for the track. I was able to source wheel bolts for them, but my tire guy has suggested studs and lug nuts. I think I'm going that direction. |

Now that you got the wheels sorted, what about the center caps?

Naw, just paint your hubs black and run 'em without the caps ... gives it more of an outlaw look - like not tucking in your shirt (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

Under the passenger seat is a one year only seat belt logic circuit.
It gets corroded inside and you will not be able to start the car. Remove the large logic circuit silver thing. Jumper the two large yellow wires together. That will solve the impending issue. Rich |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Dave, center caps seem to be very scarce, so I'll be an outlaw like Mark. Lawrence, don't get much time to work on the cars. We're out house, or garage hunting. I've been paying rent on that building for 13 yrs. what a waste of money. Rich, thank you for the info. I'll pm you with questions when I have eyes on it. |

Good call on the house/garage hunting expedition. The $ I spend for my half of the shop will now pay for the AZ mortgage (including prop taxes & ins.) ... and with the new renters moving into our back house in CA, that'll pay the mortgage, taxes & ins here as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) The rest of our $ can now go to restoring all my cars (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ... ... (kidding of course) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... oh, and I'm not an outlaw ... just some of our cars are (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |
