I searched for it on TV and can't find it at all. You would think one of the major networks would cover it. But noooOOOOoooo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif)

If you can't get the race anywhere else, do a search for "ustream le mans". It is a stream of the EuroSport feed. You'll have to check a couple of results to get one that works, and it is definitely LD (low definition), but is better than nothing at all, which is what I have without it.

Find that, then tune in radio Le Mans for English commentary.

It almost seems like Fox paid to get the coverage rights just to make sure no one could see any of it. Got to go back twenty years to remember coverage this bad...

... and I should mention that Mark Webber was leading in the #17 Porsche but just had to serve a one minute penalty for a yellow flag infraction. Currently, the #19 Porsche is in the lead.

The closing speed is almost unreal; the concentration level hard to fathom. I was last there in 2006, and it was like my brain almost couldn't accept what my eye's were relaying, as the distance just disappeared as cars would arc thru Dunlop curve, or the instant red hot rotors on braking, and instant color fade, as they shot forward. Now, probably no iron rotors left to watch. I gotta get back again!

Best of luck to #77 991 RSR, holding in 3rd place right now. One of the 458 Ferraris went down 9 laps due to a pit stop for a busted caliper...better pecking order for the RSRs !

For those that can't watch because you have a spanner in your hand Google radio lemans, it's what the English speaking world listens to trackside

I can't watch today as we are out but going to be wearing a very very old T shirt which was 1st worn at a rainy Saturday night BBQ. Hopefully there won't be similar dramas in the closing hours this year....fingers crossed for 4PM

You go Porsche !
Overall #19 first, #17 second, #18 fifth,
and the #77 991 RSR gets a podium finish: 2nd in class and 22nd overall !
A fantastic race , and can't wait 'til next year .

Thanks Man! It was awesome watching the taillights in the distance come reeling in and gone, how the hairpins just seem to go as fast as the straights, the night driving. Wow. Maybe better than TV coverage, but it kinda isolates you. I wonder if the driver is aware of much of anything but the track ahead.

No problem, my pleasure. Found those feeds trying desperately to find the race on line & watched most of it that way, switching between cars 17, 18 & 19, while listening to Radio Le Mans. I agree in that it was a very unique perspective & it did isolate you, but being 100% commercial free made it worth it in my book. Been looking for the damned "17" t shits ever since & can't find them anywhere (yet).

I know... 2 litre turbocharged V4 putting out around 500bhp. I figure it could fit into the teeners engine bay no problem (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
