Is it an early or late tank? I may need an early tank. If yiu want to bring it and it does not sell you can leave it and i will sell it eventually if it is an earky tank for the metal expansion tank.

There is no expansion tank on it. The car is a '73 and I can only assume the tank is as well. I'll bring it. I'd rather someone use it rather than just toss it, which was my next move. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Elliot nade a good choice. The closest motels are not good unless you like to hang out with crack heads and other colorful locals. The airport is about 20 mulesaway. I have hoods and trunks. Most are at my house. If you come in the day before,we can go through them. I have one nice hood at the shop thst has hood badge holes.


Thanks for the tips. My son's over at 29 Palms so I think we're going to stay overnight toward Rancho Mirage or even Indio & drive over in the morning. If we have time Saturday - I'll give you a call Bruce.

If anyone wonts to and can help out by posting this event on Samba. Craigslist San Diego, Ventura, OC and other surrounding areas. PCA club boards. etc. anywhere you think we can get the turnout ramped up, feel free to copy and paste the info.

I drove out to Chambers last weekend for the swap and boy I have to say I started buying from myself and bargaining with the left brian to sell it back to my right hand. Yes it was a lonely turnout. Lets not have that happen with the first swap at the new location. POST IT POST IT POST IT.
Bstones ( our host ) is ok with this as well.
