im seeing a window for you tommorow afternoon..drive thru DC, get south of DC and you will be fine after that...
We will see the storm tommorow afternoon, so you should be clear, wait like 1-2 hours after the snow has stopped and get to a highway, stay off the smaller roads. Then concentrate on making time....Newark to DC, 4-5 hours... Get south of DC for your next night...get as far south as your brain can handle...drive safe. Rich |

where's "here" ?
snow's not s'posed to start until this afternoon. if you're in NJ or Philadelphia you can come stay with us overnight, although i think there will be more snow to deal with tomorrow than today. OTOH - we know how to deal with it around here and the roads will be clear soon enough ... |

We're only expecting 4-6 inches of snow starting at noon today and continuing until midnight or so. The roads will be ok by morning. I'm looking forward to the snow and getting out in it with my AWD A6 and my daughter's AWD Legacy. The Legacy is fun but it has too much torque for the snow. It spins the wheels way too easy. Good for dry weather but bad for snow. The A6 has poor low end torque which is good for the snow but not for dry weather.
Also will be skiing on Sunday at Blue Mountain Ski Resort, only 16 miles away. I can see the lights on the mountain from my house. Conditions should be excellent.
